Winter in Santa Fe

First winter in Santa Fe

Santa Fe is small, and also massive. Despite being the capital of the state, it is less populous than nearby Albuquerque. I've liked this small town feeling, although it was a bit strange to adapt after living in the Atlanta metropolis. I say Santa Fe is massive because the natural landscape feels and looks timeless, and the surrounding mountains are always breathtaking. Not only Santa Fe, but most other places we've been to are quite amazing.

On Christmas we went to the traditional 'farolito' walk in Canyon road. It was quite nice, it felt like a big 'posada', with people strolling peacefully and contemplatively. There was a garden with nice lights on all the trees, it looked like an alien firefly colony.

Well, that was a wrap at Atlanta. Now, to Santa Fe!
